Dana is a nurse and mom to a Type 1 Diabetic, Sensory Seeking toddler with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. She knows first hand the challenges and triumphs of every day life with Type 1 Diabetes & Sensory Processing. After months and years of trial and error, successes & failures, she now uses her personal experiences & knowledge to empower newly diagnosed families to confidently manage their toddler’s diabetic & sensory needs while finding joy in the chaos with a community of support behind them!
